What If I Get Injured?

All touch football players (who are correctly registered to their local association) are provided a basic level of cover for accidental injury under the Touch Football Australia National Insurance Scheme.

NOTE:     You MUST have registered (online) in the current season in order to be covered for insurance. If you have failed to register, you are forgoing your coverage.

If you have been injured while participating in a sanctioned* touch football match, you must:

  1. Report the injury to your competition administrator immediately and obtain and complete an Injury Report Form;

  2. Return the Injury Report form to your administrator so that it can be signed by an official. They will provide you with a copy to assist you when you make a claim;

  3. Lodge a Claim Form Request directly with SportsCover/Marsh Insurance within 30 days of your accident or injury occurring by calling 1300 130 373 or via touchfootball.jltsport.com.au 
     
  4. Lodge additional documentation, as required by SportsCover/Marsh, within 90 days from the date of the injury occurring.

*A sanctioned touch football activity includes any approved competition or event conducted under the auspices of Touch Football Australia. It does not include competitions or events conducted by organisations which are not an affiliate member of Touch Football Australia.
